Meet Joseph "Joe" Terrell, an "every man" with a passion for a wide range of topics, from technology and science to news, religion, politics, and Joomla. With more than 25 years of experience in the Information Technology (IT) industry, Joe has spent his career helping clients, organizations, and government agencies improve their efficiency and effectiveness. As a Technical Analyst for the U.S. Department of Defense's Defense Logistics Agency, he dedicated eight years to supporting U.S. troops and end users worldwide in various IT areas, including networking, hardware, software, and mobile phone support.
Joe holds a degree in Management Information Systems from Rockford University in Rockford, IL, along with certifications in computer hardware support, network security, and Microsoft Windows.
Joe serves as the operations manager for Dynamic Alpha Solutions - a financial services firm providing Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) services to Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) and other financial advisors. Driven by the mission to help people "Simplify Complexity," he believes that technology should make people more productive and simplify their lives.
Joining the Alliance Foundation was important to Joe, as he firmly believes that everyone deserves an opportunity to be prosperous in their lives. He's convinced that through hard work and focus, anyone can be successful and happy.
Joe currently resides in Machesney Park, IL, with his wife Julia and their beloved furry friends Ducky Dog, a Labrador, and Bones, a cat. As a well-rounded individual, Joe's interests extend beyond technology, making him an engaging conversationalist and someone who can connect with people from all walks of life.
