The Old Ways of Doing Business Are NOT Acceptable

Are we holding on to the “old ways of doing things” or are we taking the time to understand the ways that our communities are changing?

Unfortunately, Harlem Township is holding on to the “old ways of doing things” The township does NOT have a website. The township does NOT have an online checkbook. Not long ago the court ruled against the township for failing to comply with the Freedom of Information Act.

This is NOT acceptable. Government MUST be transparent. The citizens MUST hold township government accountable.

Why I Believe Politics Is Important

Some people want to know why I am so interested in politics. My answer is simple. I am interested in politics because I believe we have a responsibility - a God given responsibility - to be good stewards and good overseers of our communities.

Psalm 8:6 teaches, "You made them rulers over the works of your hands; you put everything under their feet"
