TOWNSHIP COMMITTEEMAN MEETING TO DISCUSS 2013 ELECTION -- Notice is hereby give to all Harlem township precinct committeemen for a meeting to discuss whether candidates for township offices in the 2013 election will be chosen by caucus or by primary. The meeting will be held on October 29, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. at John Cabello's campaign office at 627 Harlem Road, Machesney Park. By state statute, unless the election authorities are notified of a decision to select candidates via a primary, the selection process will be deemed to be by caucus -- and said caucus must be held on December 4, 2012. It is not expected the meeting will last long, and should not interfere with your attendance at the rally -- but this is an important decision to make, so your presence is needed.
